The D1's suspension platform is built around our Hyper Racer Kinetik RC shocks, giving you 450mm of plush suspension travel and the ability to tackle the harshest environments on track.
Built like a race car, because it is a race car. We're not trying to compete with the other big brands: the D1 is a purpose-built race car with a 4130 steel tube-frame chassis, and wishbones and uprights designed from 8mm steel plate. At the same time, the D1 is built around easy-to-obtain off-the-shelf parts, like Landcruiser hubs, rotors and wheels, letting anyone play with a proper off-road race car.
The glorious Hayabusa engine from Suzuki puts out 195hp naturally aspirated, revving to 10,000 rpm. It's the engine of choice in off-road buggies and even circuit racing cars all over the world. Proven reliability, a compact package, and incredible power for its size. In a car that weighs just 570kg, you won't be able to keep your foot flat to the floor for very long.
Get an off-road car fast enough and something strange happens: the rough stuff disappears underneath you, the terrain goes quiet, and your brain starts recalibrating what dirt allows. That's race-car territory, and race cars have only ever come out of race shops - one slow, expensive build at a time. The D1 rolls out of the factory already there. Built to fly, built to be flogged, at a price nothing else can touch.
