Our Leader

Dean Crooke

Engineer - Designer

The driving force behind the Hyper Racers, Dean's dedication and work ethic is inspiring.

Recognised at a young age as being seriously talented at driving and mechanical endeavors, Dean was subsequently mentored and trained by industry leaders.

A karter from the age of 8, and winner of multiple superkart championships, a talented race car engineer and composite technician, Dean now possesses a very particular set of skills. Skills he has acquired over a  long career. Skills that make him unique.

He can imagine it, he can design it and he will make it.

Concept

Jon Crooke

Designer - Engineer

The original concept of the Hyper PRO Racer is an idea Jon had 35 years ago for a fast, safer and affordable racing car.

However it wasn't until Dean declared that they should build it, that the concept became a reality. The Hyper TERRA Racer followed, and all along, there was talk of the X1.

Jon possesses unique skills - both inside - and outside the world of motor racing. National Formula 2 driving champion and 'works' Group A driver for Brocks HDT race team, Hyper Racer race car designer and builder and designer and manufacturer of the Hyper Stimulators, the world's first racing car simulators. Jon is also a 40 year pioneer in green and earth sheltered solar house and tiny house architecture and a game designer.

He describes himself as an 'imagineer'. He sees things that other people don't. He sees a better way. He envisions the future.
