Round 7 - Calder Park
18th October 2008

Dean Crooke took 4 wins from 4 starts in the lights division.
Round 7 of the of the Victorian Club Championship.

Rotax MAX 125

Not again !!
Yep - again.
Dean Crooke dominated again in the Max Light racing at Calder Park to take 4 wins from 4 starts.
Aaron and Peter Gazzola put in stellar drives to finish second and third on the day.

Races were 8, 8, 8 and 10 laps.

Crooke was on fire all day and, although challenged all the way in the drag races to turn 1, by the time he had negotiated the first 3 turns and crested Jane Hill, his speed on cold tyres had seen him pull a jaw dropping 2 second gap in each of the races. By the end of each heat he had extended his lead to over 4 seconds.

Of the other Hyper drivers, Shaun Trounson finished 6th in the Lights and rookie David Sheedy had a great day's racing finishing 6th in the heavy division.

The roar from the crowd was deafening.
