Hyper Racer has won 2 of the 3 classes at the 2008 Nationals at Phillip Island.
Mark Wicks and Sean Whitfield braved miserably cold and wet conditions to take the Heavy and Junior National titles.
Both drivers added the National title to their Victorian State wins two weeks earlier.

DRIVER QUOTES
Champion Rotax Heavy driver Mark Wicks (kartsportnews.com HyperRacer): "The kart's been really strong all weekend and we had some really close racing in the first heat and the final it was really tight and a lot wetter. I actually ran off the track at the second turn, put two wheels in the dirt and dropped back to about fourth. Got back into the lead and got baulked into Siberia and dropped back to fifth but got back into second on the line! Once it got up to speed it was just a rocket down the straight and the handling and the tyres were really good. A good weekend."

Champion Rotax Junior driver Sean Whitfield (Wild Digital HyperRacer): "I had a really good weekend, Saturday wasn't too crash hot but we got there in the end, lost my good engine on Saturday after qualifying, then in the Saturday race I got taken out by a Senior, but Sunday won all of the races, that was really good. It feels heaps good to have come back from all of that to win."
