If you are excited about the thought of owning a Hyper PRO Racer, why not drive one at a ‘Test Drive’ day.
You will receive a thorough briefing by a Level 1 driver who will demonstrate the features of the Hyper PRO Racer and show you the correct braking and gear shift points and racing lines. You will then drive the car. The aim of the day is to get a ‘feel’ of the car and understand what makes a Hyper PRO Racer so special.
Hyper Racer is conducting ‘Test Drive’ days at Winton, Australia. To find out more and book your seat, phone Australia - Jon Crooke Int (0)418 547 150

WARNING. Test days can be expensive.
The pictures on the right are the result of test day drivers who's ambition exceeded their ability. These drivers were mature men whose last words before driving onto the track were "Don't worry guy's, I'll be very careful".
These drivers were people just like you. Smart, intelligent and careful.
The consequence of these accidents was that, for the offending drivers, their test drive suddenly became a very expensive exercise. Apart from their share of the cost of the day, they were also responsible for the cost of repairs AND the cost of reimbursing the other test driver(s) costs for the day.
The total cost of a test day is $2000. Normally 2 drivers share the car and the cost of the day. In both cases pictured, the cars were crashed in the first session of the day. That meant that the overly ambitious driver paid for his and his colleagues entries and the damage bill, all of which was deducted from the standard $5000 security deposit which is paid in advance of the day.
So if you are thinking of booking a test drive, be aware of the following;
1. The Hyper PRO Racer is a very very fast racing car.
2. The Hyper PRO Racer has a very high power to weight ratio.
3. At the speeds the Hyper PRO Racer operates at, things can get out of hand very quickly.
4. You will begin your test day with exactly the same responsible attitude as the drivers of the cars pictured on the right.
5. If you crash you will be extremely embarrassed and sorry for ruining the day of the other driver(s).
6. If you crash you will be responsible for the costs of the entire day including damage and co-drivers costs.
7. In the case of an accident like these you will almost certainly kiss your $5000 security deposit goodbye and may be up for further costs.
NOTE: Due to the state of the art safety features designed into the Hyper PRO Racer, the drivers involved in the crashes (pictured), stepped - or crawled - from the vehicles un-injured.
The Good News.
The good news for owners of a Hyper PRO Racer, is that the cost of accidents like these won't break the bank. Due to intelligent design, suspension components are designed to tear off the car without damaging the core chassis and bodywork is made up of multiple small panels so that damage is localised and cheap to repair.
To repair the white car the costs were; For the do it yourself racer - Parts $500. For the hands-off racer - Parts and labour $1000.
To repair the orange car the costs were; For the do it yourself racer - Parts $1000. For the hands-off racer - Parts and labour $1500.

Rules and Regulations
Our Test Drive Days are a strictly non-competitive event structured to give potential customers a chance to drive the Hyper PRO Racer prior to making a purchase decision.
On Track Rules and Regulations The day is structured as a non-competitive day. The rules for all drivers are as follows:
1. The event will be organised and controlled entirely by Hyper Racer and its representatives.
2. All participants in the event are to be aware that they accept the fact that they are to drive the Hyper PRO Racer in a safe manner at all times on the circuit as directed.
3. Under no circumstances are participants to race, time laps, or participate in any other behaviour that may lead to, or cause an accident.
4. Any crash damage is to be paid for by the driver. Personal accident, and ambulance insurance is the responsibility of the individual.

Drivers are given a full briefing on the overtaking rules during the compulsory morning briefing and are educated during the theory and practical sessions which side of the track to remain whilst being overtaken.
9. NO timing of any laps. The organisers do not provide any timing equipment and also disallow any personal stopwatches or lap timers.
10. NO competitive/aggressive/unnecessary driving is tolerated. This type of driving will result in the driver being flagged off the circuit and asked to retire from the day.
11. A regulation helmet must be worn at all times whilst driving on the track. Non-synthetic "neck to wrist to ankles" clothing should also be worn.
12. Participants are to report to a doctor after any incident. Participants are to report to the event organiser prior to any further action. Participants are not to return to the circuit without the clearance of all of the above.
